- We purchase the seven stamped inserts and do all the QC inspection as well as material traceability to delivery a Tier one line ready part.
- We provide Life OF THE PART TOOLING GUARANTEE on this mold. So no future tool maintenance will be charged to the customer after the initial mold build.
- We run this part in one of our 28 Vertical injection molding machines. The mold was designed & built with one top half & two bottoms so inserts can be loaded in one of the bottom mold halves while the press is cycling.
- This automotive component has many critical requirements for inspection as well as testing. SPC is required to be tracked for a number of dimensions & a 1.67 CPK is required for this component.
- This part was a problem for other suppliers because of the 7 stamped inserts.
- Our facility has 56 years of experience insert molding & we have delivered millions of these parts via Kan Ban.
- Because we do VMI on this part and ship via Kan Ban, our customer has been able to reduce their inventory because they know we have finished product on hand.
