The Desktop Swivel Base is used to mount flat screen monitors in hotel rooms and has extreme strength requirements due to potential liability issues. The mount allows a monitor to smoothly swivel 360 degrees without wobble while maintaining the structural soundness to hold the weight of a person using it for support during a fall.
